Mbeki and Bush: Best of Friends
T-Bone was in the oval office yesterday, and had by all accounts, a very positive discussion with Dubya. Besides referring not once but twice to the Doha Round of WTO negotiations as the 'Darfur Round' (as Freudian a slip as you can make), Bush seemed to be very respectful of Thabo and it seems as though Thabo's focus on Somalia and Darfur, as well as coverage of the AIDS program, was well received.
